How do I know that a title is in the stacks?

In the OPAC, "Stacks" appears under "Location".

How do I know a book can be ordered online?

In the OPAC, the loan status is "available for loan", next to it the button "Request".

How can I order media from the stacks via the OPAC?

After clicking on the button "Request", please enter your library user number (3100...) and your password. Confirm the order after checking the meta data of the copy.

Journals are generally not available for loan.
The last 10 years of a periodical journal held on an ongoing basis are available for in-house use in the open stacks area at the respective subject desks. Normally, all journal stocks older than 10 years are housed in the stacks.

Which journals must be ordered?
Journals that are housed in the stacks of the library (location "Magazin") have to be ordered in advance.

Please use the given web form, fill it and send it to us. We require you to enter at least your personal information (library user number and name), title and signature of the journal as well as the desired year/volume and issue.
