Course Reserve Books
In our course reserves you can find literature for current courses selected by your lecturers.
The digital semester course reserves are provided by your lecturers in the Moodle section of the course. To open the documents, you will need a registration key, which you will receive in your respective course.
The physical course reserves are located directly on the ground floor of the library. The books are marked as reference copies and can be used and copied on site. Additional borrowable copies can be found in the library's collection.
An overview of the current course reserves can be found here.
Information for Lecturers
For the duration of a semester, a course reserve can be set up for your course. To do so, send us a title list, name of the lecturer, the title of the course and whether you want a digital or physical course reserve to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include information on author, title, year of publication and edition in the title list. If the desired literature is not yet available in the library’s collection, we will automatically forward the information to our subject specialists as an order request.
For digital course reserves 15% or a maximum of 25 pages from books, complete articles from journals and illustrations from the library's collection can be made available according to §60 UrhG (German Copyright Act). Please include the corresponding page numbers in the title list.
For physical course reserves one copy per title is included so that additional copies can still be borrowed by all users. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide printed journals in a physical course reserve.
For an on-time service, please notify us six weeks prior to the start of the semester of the literature you would like to use.
