Study rooms

The University Library offers 6 double work rooms, 27 individual study rooms, and 14 group study rooms. The individual rooms are equipped with monitors with an HDMI connection and LAN cables. The group study rooms provide smartboards and LAN cables.

Use of the study rooms is free of charge and available to all users with a valid membership. Students and staff can make a reservation directly via our booking platform using an SSO login. External users reserve a room at the service desk on the ground floor, by phone, or by email.

The keys for the reserved rooms can be collected at the service desk on the ground floor.

Monthly study rooms

For OVGU students working on a scientific final thesis/paper, we also offer monthly study rooms. These can be used for a period of one week up to four weeks. The requirement is written proof of the thesis/paper. A booking request can be submitted directly via the booking platform.
