Our search platform UBfind will be updated to the latest version in the next few days, which will comprehensively modernize it technically. For you, this means faster search results, an optimized display on all end devices and more convenience when searching.
What is UBfind?
UBfind is your central access point for literature research at the Magdeburg University Library. In addition to printed materials and licensed electronic media, such as e-books, e-journals, and databases, you can search here (unlike in the OPAC) for individual licensed journal and conference articles, as well as open access content.
Overview of New Functions

Modernized user interface: The user interface has been completely redesigned. On smartphones and tablets in particular, you benefit from more intuitive operation, including swipe gestures for navigation.

Faster, more flexible search: The new technical basis ensures significantly faster hit lists.

New in stock: You can now see an overview of new titles added to the stock on the start page.

Device-specific favorites lists: You can create favorites that are saved on a device-specific basis.

Search history: UBfind saves your last search queries so that you can easily call up previous searches.
