Scientific Works Late Night

Interesting facts, practical tips and new perspectives on studying and research

How do I find the right literature for my essay? Which AI tools can help me with my academic work? How do I organise my sources and notes? And how do I keep on top of things amidst exams, deadlines and everyday student life?

Answers to these and many other questions will be provided at the Scientific Works Late Night on Thursday, 3 December 2026, from 6.00 pm to 10.00 pm at Magdeburg University Library.

The topics are as varied as academic work itself: from AI-assisted literature searches, academic integrity and dealing with sources, through to reference management, writing and organisational tools, right up to learning strategies, everyday student life and personal time management. Science communication, academic publishing and current social issues also feature in the programme.

Do pop in, discover some interesting topics and take away some helpful ideas for your studies or research. We look forward to seeing you there!
