Campus Holidays at the University Library - Creating and Experiencing Stories

As part of this year’s Campus Holidays from 6th to 24th July 2026, the University Library (UB) opened its doors to the children of staff members and students to bring the fascinating world of the university library to life. Together with the UB team, participants aged six to eleven discovered the journey a book takes from an idea to the library and proudly created their own works in their very own “book workshop.” Things got especially cozy during the picture book screening that followed, with everyone sitting on beanbags and lounge chairs. With this event, the UB not only creates space for learning and creativity but also makes the library a place of community, connection, and enthusiasm for media—even for the youngest visitors. A huge thank you to all library fans, young and old, for these wonderful campus holiday activities!
