Settling In Is More Than Just Enrolling

A college education begins with enrollment. But settling into university life often takes longer. A meet-up organized by the “Schwimm Kultur” initiative, which took place recently at the University Library, focused precisely on this process of settling in. International students learned about language support, student participation, and available resources; they shared experiences and collaborated on ideas for a successful college life. The University Library hosted an afternoon event that demonstrated how integration can succeed—through listening, dialogue, and a willingness to welcome one another.
