Accessible working

The University Library Magdeburg is committed to enabling barrier-free work. Immediately in the foyer, on the right-hand side, there are easily accessible lockers. For a barrier-free entry and exit, the turnstile in the entrance area can, if needed, be opened by the security staff. All floors are accessible via elevators. Barrier-free restrooms are located on the ground floor and on the first floor.

In addition, a barrier-free study room is available. It is equipped with two workstations, a height-adjustable desk, a table camera, and two 27-inch monitors with an HDMI connection. The room can be reserved via our booking platform using an SSO login, or alternatively at the service desk on the ground floor, by phone, or by email.

Our colleagues at the University Library will be happy to support you with any concerns. At the service desks, you will always find staff members to contact. If you wish, we can also provide you with the literature you need.
