Knowledge Transfer: First Aid for International Students
On May 30th 2026 the University Library hosted its first English-language first aid course for 24 international students—an important requirement for obtaining a driver’s license in Germany. The program was initiated and coordinated through library directors in collaboration with student Senate member Maneesh Murukan. Ali Al Baouli, an OVGU medical student, was recruited as the instructor, establishing a successful example of peer learning. While students support one another in this process, the University Library creates opportunities and space for community, participation, and knowledge transfer.
