Workstations in the Library
The software of the user workstations has been updated. Besides the upgrade to Windows 10, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as R with RStudio are now available for scientific work on the computers in the library. The USB interface can also be used.
Extended Desktops on User PCs
In addition to the basic desktop, two extended desktops are now available on the user PCs in the usage area (IGEL clients). With these, the SPSS and MATLAB license software can be used on 25 PCs each. Further information can be found here
New Service for Returning Media
Starting Monday, November 16th 2020, media from both the University Library and the Medical Central Library can be returned at both locations during the respective opening hours!
Update of User Account System
On Thursday, 17.09.2020, an update of the user account interface was conducted. The changes affect the design as well as some new functions.
