Overview of the most important on-site services

A modern infrastructure - the ideal place to study

You will find PCs with the relevant software on all levels of the library. After logging in with your account, the PCs are ready for research as well as for using the internet. You can save your data using a USB stick, your personal network drive or the OVGU-Cloud.
On the computers you will find software for text editing (MS-Office, LaTex), image editing, statistical software (R, SPSS) and software for solving mathematical problems (Matlab).
Furthermore, five combined scanning, copying and printing devices are available in the university library. Scans are free of charge and are sent directly to your e-mail address.

The Carrel - Your private office in the University Library

Do you need a lot of silence during your work and would also like to leave your documents, books, writing pad and pens in the library for a while? Then you are welcome to book a carrel or store your stuff in the Long-Term Lockers. This way you can read, study and work undisturbed.

Use the delivery services of the University Library

If you are unsuccessful in finding subject articles or books digitally or physically at the University Library? Use the delivery service and the article or book will be sent to the university library and you can then collect it from us. The service is free of charge for OVGU students and staff.

Students can also order standards, guidelines, technical rules and TGL standards via our CaNoLi service in the Patent Information Centre and Norm Infopoint in the University Library (3rd floor).
